SEO articles based on what Google already knows about your site
RankLantern looks in your Search Console for searches you're almost found for and writes articles about them every week, in your voice, as drafts in WordPress.
Why Search Console is the best source
Search Console shows which searches your site already appears for in Google. Searches you're shown for but get few clicks on are the opportunities closest to hand: Google already finds your site relevant for them. A good article on exactly that question is often the quickest step up.
How it works
- You connect Search Console with the Google account that manages your site.
- RankLantern suggests ideas, each with a reason (for example: many impressions, no page on this topic yet). Ideas that clash with an existing page are dropped.
- You approve. Autopilot writes the article and puts it in WordPress as a draft.
In your voice
RankLantern reads your existing pages and suggests a voice and standing instructions, for example “keep it informal”, “end with an invitation to an introductory call” or “don't mention prices”. You change them yourself, and every article follows those rules.
Refreshing existing pages
In Pro, Managed and Agency, RankLantern also looks at pages you already have: which are out of date, and which internal links are missing between your articles.
What you don't get
No automatic publishing and no promised positions. Instead, new drafts every week on topics that matter, and an overview of what they bring. If you work with WordPress, also read WordPress SEO; what it costs is on the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
›Are the articles bad for SEO?
Google judges whether a text is useful. That's why RankLantern, based on your own Search Console data, writes about questions your visitors really have, in your voice. Every article arrives as a draft in WordPress and only goes online after you've checked and edited it.
›How many articles do I get per month?
Starter: 8 a month. Pro and Managed: 20 a month. Agency: 60 a month for 10 websites. With Pro, Managed and Agency you choose how many Autopilot writes on its own every week; with Starter you ask for ideas yourself and approve them.
›Do I need to have Search Console already?
No, but it helps. Without Search Console, RankLantern bases the ideas on your site and on what people search for. With Search Console, the searches you're already almost found for are added to that.
›Is anything published automatically?
No. Every article is prepared as a draft. You publish.
